Picture of the day (02.01.11)

Yesterday I had a chit chat with my office mate from my old work at the call center. She was a content writer and she’s more familiar with blogging than I am so I ask for tips on how to write effectively. As we chat, she shared that she was trying to make an everyday blog entitled “Picture of the Day” and that’s where the concept of this blog came up… (Thanks Abbey!ü)

For my 1st picture of the day, I’ve decided to shoot my work place with the use of my ever reliable Samsung star with the capability of shooting panorama (multiple images combined to one to create a wide image).

I chose my work place because everyday this is where I spent most of the time than any other place (but not when I’m on field). This gives me resources to enjoy quality time with my family and friends. This is where I learn new this and taught to get along with people whom I didn’t know well.

I love my workplace because they give me the feeling of importance, thou sometimes difficulties arise but those people whom you don’t know becomes your friend and assist you all the way…

Fieldwork to Quezon Province

Last week I set sail to Lucena to implement a 3 days sampling on key accounts under our distributor at the said area. We depart the office at around 9am so we still have time to prepare for tomorrows activity. We took SLEX then Star toll way to avoid traffic in Turbina.

As usual routine, we stop over friendly noodle house at Lopez, Quezon. This not so clean noodle house was the most popular eatery in this side of town. It has 4 huge soup container that was continuously boiled that melts the meat and dissolve to the water making it a bit slimy and tasty as well. You savor it with young chili and kalamansi depending on your taste. You can indulge it with rice, puto, buns or noodles it self. And by the way, you can as for extra soup for free. This noodle house was introduce by Sir Gwapo when I work with him la year. From then, I make sure that every time I go to south I pay a visit in this friendly noodle house.

Then again we hit the road and reach out destination at around 3pm. Took a little rest and head to Pagbilao for a visit to Ms. Jho. Chat a little, get sampling materials and head back home where we stay every time I do field work at Lucena. At the evening, i meet with Sir L and Sir Gwapo. We go to Dalahican Port to buy fresh fish as our dinner and pulutan as well. I took as half hour to get what we want because Sir Gwapo is so meticulous in choosing.

We feast with a huge grilled tambakol (thanks to my companion J) and prepare for tons of booze. We were in the middle of our sess

ion when Mr. P came (friend of Sir Gwapo, a salesman of Toyo Sardines) and join us. I was so drunk I don’t wanna listen to them… so I went inside the house, lay down at the couch and watch baker prince…ü (so gay!!!)

My morning starts early because I need to talk to the store personnel just in case their problem, we still make it in time to start our sampling. The store was not crowded because its midweek but still there was customers that pays visit to the store. After awhile, me and j head to the town proper to check stores on product availability. Then head back to sampling for pull out. I was hoping that I could go back to Kamay ni Hesus that day but theirs no time because I have to finish reports for my fieldwork.

The next day, we leave the house at around 6am because we have to travel another hour to reach the site where we have to promote. It was raining and the road is wet but I like it coz were doing 80kmh. (adrenaline rush!!!) When we reach the site, as usual we prepare the booth, start sampling and leave.

I love traveling, that’s one reason why I came back to my old work as trade marketing assistant because it gives me the privilege to around the Philippines for free. Next time ill make sure that ill be able to visit Kamay ni Hesus and say my thanks.

Looking forward for my next adventure and I think it will be in Bicol region.

My last Sunday were spent by sleeping the whole day because of a movie marathon so I decided to do something special on my Sunday. Kg, my black brother will be leaving soon to work at Saudi for 2 years so we head out to SM Megamall.

My head still aching because of 3 shots vodka shared with my youngest brother. But still the show must go on. After arriving at the venue, we head straight to toy kingdom ground floor where huge statues of action figures where installed. I posed beside hulk and dark vader while kg where shot while giving wolverine a head lock. The store was crowded because theirs on going bay blade tournament so we head to comic alley hunting action figures. Inside the stall I saw an akatsuki cloak, prince of tennis jacket. But the one that caught my attention is the brown boxer jacket (the one with no zipper) with a face of monster and Its 900 pesos (rarh!!!). But I have to leave it… for now! Out of budget! Awts!

After that, we continue roaming around and end up at collector shop where they sell various action figures, from common to rare items. I saw a 24 inch juggernaut and an apocalypse worth 5,000 and 1,000 pesos respectively. I can’t afford those toys that moment but I know that it will take a long time before someone does. So I’ll save money till I can purchase or better yet, I check Divisoria for that same item where they might be cheaper.

Then we go to SM food court to fulfill out stomach calling. Its chow time! We indulged with sizzling burger steak and a bottle of water. The food is fine but the side dish (corn and carrots) is cold. Well anyway, we then go to dairy queen for an upside down ice cream before watch a movie.

The film he chose is based on a true to life story entitled “Exorcisimus”. The setting was a family of four. Their child don’t go to school, they study at home with their father as their teacher. a girl do the lead role as the one who were posses by the demon that enters her body after playing ouija board and sacrificing blood from her own. She started showing signs when she taken to a psychiatrist. She fell asleep and the demon takes over, talk to the psychiatrist with some kind of chant causing to have a heart attack and die. Blah! Blah! Blah! I feel asleep and at the end of the movie, it’s just a conspiracy created by their uncle (a priest) whom was suspended because of the same reason. Exorcism! So he uses her niece to prove that exorcism is true. In the end, her family was broken and the priest hangs himself because of guilt.

The end! Haist… what a tragic story isn’t it?! I didn’t enjoy the movie but it alright. We’ll that’s how my Sunday was spent…

Liberating Mornin’

Liberating Mornin’

…“It’s just one of those days when you don’t want to wake up! Everything is s@#$, everybody f@#$!” –Limp Bizkit-

I woke up at around 7:20am this morning and still got the spirit of alcohol that keeps me want to sleep some more… but hey! Its duty call, need to be at the office a exactly 8:00am. Don’t want a scar on my attendance for this month! So I head straight to the bath room for a quick cold shock. As I was doing my hair, I look at the mirror and began to ask question.

…”How does he weight up?! Does he take things personally or professionally?! WWJD?!”

WWJD’ I always use that four letter to decide if I’m having difficulties looking for answers to my question… and of course… all the answer are still questions (J’s way of answering questions), a simple one with answers that will lead to a positive but difficult to carry out!

Well I guess all the answers to my question are already in my face… they might be difficult to accept that’s why I’m still searching for something that will compensate my ego. Maybe, just maybe if I try to accept all the thing life brings with openness… it will be less complicated for me!

…”Sometimes the world asks us to fight for things we do not understand and whose significance we may never discover. But we always know when some rules need to be broken.” –Paulo Coelho-

Anyhow! All the lesson we learn are just guides, and out free will to decide whether to do the right thing or not.

One minute… go!

One minute… go!

Peace! ^^

Jack of all trades, Master of none

Jack of all trades, Master of none

…"Jack of all trades, master of none" is a figure of speech used in reference to a person that is competent with many skills but is not necessarily outstanding in any particular one. -wikipedia-

Dati ang alam ko lang eh Jack of all trades na nangangahulugang lahat ng bagay ay kayang gawin… pero may kasunod pa pala siya… Master of None!

Pangtapos na salita… nung naalala ko ung “Jack of all trades, Master of none.”

"Jack of all trades, Master of none, though oftentimes better than master of one"

Ayan!

A lesson I won’t forget

A lesson I won’t forget

…”Its not the situation, but how you react on it!”
